Check Out
A worker checks out a Smart Lock. It is now assigned to them.

Activate
The lock is placed at the isolation point, associating it with the equipment, and the lockout is recorded. Workers associated with that equipment receive a push notification that the equipment is now locked out.

Deactivate
When work is complete, the lock is removed, deactivating the lockout. The end time of the lockout is recorded and workers associated with the equipment receive a push notification that the lock has been removed.

Check In
The worker checks the lock in and it returns to the pool of available locks. The full timeline is preserved in the dashboard and reporting.
